As a club, we have talked about this often enough...ice-axe braking (as opposed to ice-axe breaking). It's about time we did something about it. If the conditions become favourable within the coming weeks, we could couple this exercise to a winter hillwalk (it has to be restricted to hills on my list only). Keep adding to the blog, it's great.
